Our Method

The Charlotte Mason philosophy sees each child as a whole person, created in God’s image, with a mind eager for living ideas rather than mere facts. Education is “a science of relations,” where learning unfolds through rich and meaningful connections—with people, ideas, and the beauty of the created world. Guided by the Holy Spirit, the true and ultimate Teacher, educators walk alongside their students as fellow learners under God’s divine authority. This life-giving approach draws on the riches of literature, nature, art, music, and habit training to shape both intellect and character. Learning becomes a joyful feast, inviting children to grow in wisdom, virtue, and a lifelong love of learning.

Making a Globe

Education here is not about checking boxes or memorizing facts, but about igniting a love of lifelong learning. Students read rich stories, explore the sciences, and engage with history in its full context, learning to care deeply about people and ideas beyond themselves. In keeping with Charlotte Mason’s philosophy, all students are presented with the same feast of subjects, while lessons are differentiated to meet each child’s unique needs and level of growth.  Our approach places emphasis on habit formation, free play, and time outdoors — believing that character is shaped not only by what a child knows, but by how they live. The daily rhythm includes opportunities for quiet reflection, meaningful work, and joyful discovery. We aim to nourish children with living ideas, preparing them to grow into thoughtful, capable, and compassionate adults.

As Mason reminds us:

“The question is not how much does the youth know… but how much does he care?”
